We have a
lot of farms in our area! With an ever growing recall on foods that are massed
produced we are lucky to have access to so much, so close! We have Dyer Dairy
off Hwy29 that carries cheeses and fresh milk. Honey and Bee lectures from Bost
Bees Farm, Organic produce from DayStar and Ol Thyme Gardens in Taylor. We have
many farmers markets including Hutto and Taylor and the big news this year is
Monument Market! Pattie from the Monument Café Group has done an incredible job
starting and organizing the farmers market. They will have classes, lectures and
most important– fresh local foods. Off hwy 29 there are many tree farms. Pecan
orchards that offer you pick em, a Christmas tree stand, and a commercial tree
supplier. Best of all we have an organic nursery that sells organic certified
plants to start out your gardens at Gabriel Valley Farms!
